Accessibility statement

Our commitment

Storybook Vacation Homes is working to make this website usable for as many people as possible, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time task. We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as a practical target. We have not been independently audited against that standard, and we do not claim full conformance.

What we have done

• Descriptive text alternatives for images across the site.
• Keyboard access to the main navigation, galleries and booking controls.
• Labelled form fields and clear, visible focus states.
• Colour and text choices chosen for readable contrast.
• A layout that adapts to phones, tablets and desktops, and to larger text sizes.

Known limitations

Parts of the booking and payment experience are provided by third parties (our booking platform and payment processor). We do not control their code and cannot guarantee their accessibility. If you have trouble completing a booking online, please contact us and we will take your reservation and payment details personally.

Accessibility of the homes themselves

Our villas are individual vacation homes and their physical features vary. Descriptions of a home’s layout and features are provided for information only and are not a certification of accessibility or of compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act or any other standard. If you have specific mobility, sensory or medical needs, please contact us before booking so we can tell you honestly whether a particular home will work for your group.

Getting help or reporting a problem

If you encounter a barrier on this website, or you need information in a different format, we want to hear about it. Please contact our guest services team with a description of the problem and the page or home involved, and we will do our best to help and to fix the issue.

We review this statement periodically and update it as the site changes.
