For villa owners

Switching to Storybook

Moving a property between managers sounds disruptive and usually is not. The calendar is the only part that needs real care, and it is the part we plan around first.

Existing bookings are honoured

Every reservation on your calendar transfers with the property and is honoured at the rate the guest booked. Guests are handed over cleanly with a message explaining who is now looking after them, so nobody arrives confused about who to call.

The sequence

  • A revenue read on your address, before anything is signed.
  • Agreement, and notice served on your current manager to their terms.
  • Calendar, listings and reviews migrated across the platforms.
  • Film shoot and photography, usually in the first available gap.
  • Listings relaunched with the new media and pricing.

How long it takes

Most owners are fully migrated inside a few weeks, media and all. The pacing item is usually the notice period in your existing agreement rather than anything on our side, so it is worth reading that clause before the first call.

Your calendar does not go dark

The homes stay bookable throughout. There is no window where the property comes off the market while the paperwork catches up, which is the thing most owners are actually worried about when they ask about switching.

Ready when you are

Call the family desk, 8a to 10p ET daily, or send us your dates and we will check the whole collection at once.
